Competition Overview
The ROSDC is a competition which gives high school students the opportunity to experience firsthand the creative and structural process of working in the aerospace industry.
During the competition, the participants are presented with the hypothetical situation of a solar system with a much more evolved aerospace industry, where significant infrastructure has already been built and life outside of Earth is not uncommon. Here, an organization named The Foundation Society has made most of the breakthroughs in the space domain and wishes to further expand by creating more spacious settlements. Therefore, The Foundation Society has contracted four companies with the necessary experience and resources, giving them each the task of creating and designing a settlement plan and presenting it.
As a participant, you will be allocated to one of the four companies, to design, construct and detail a presentation through which you will showcase your ideas and prove your plan’s efficacy.
ROSDC is a one-day, free-to-enter competition open to high school students all across the country, taking place during the weekend.
